About Ms. Kelly

Mollyrose Kelly, MA, LPC, CCTP, is a licensed professional counselor at Collaborative Behavioral Health in Skokie, Illinois. She specializes in trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression, and her goal is to help others explore their sources of pain and find value in it.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2012 from theUniversity of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ms. Kelly went on to graduate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2016.

Using a person-centered approach to treatment, Ms. Kelly counsels her patients so they develop the necessary skills to manage their own unique difficulties. She helps them to break down judgments and build up their self-esteem and grit so that they’re better able to cope with outside forces through a wide range of therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), and motivational interviewing.

Ms. Kelly warmly welcomes all patients, from adolescents to seniors, and she treats individuals, couples, and families. Whether they’re actively seeking opportunities to change or simply need to see and be seen, she gives them a safe space to explore old hurts without fear of judgment. Together, they work through issues such as life transitions, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), family conflict, coping skills, and behavioral problems.

Ms. Kelly now offers teletherapy (online sessions/virtual therapy) and phone sessions to accommodate clients who are not traveling due to illness or Coronavirus guidelines.  Using the same evidence-based techniques as always, Mollyrose will walk you through a secure, web-based platform to deliver remote therapy to your chosen location. All you need is a phone or computer with an Internet connection and webcam with audio.
