Nadia Neimanas, LCSW

​

Nadia Neimanas, LCSW, specializes in working with emerging adults (18-25) and adults (26+) experiencing addiction, trauma, shame, life transitions, serious mental illness (SMI), and associated symptoms. Nadia draws heavily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and has experience utilizing a range of other modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, among others. In addition to these modalities, Nadia emphasizes the importance of social justice in our experiences and takes a broad view of how we as individuals interact with other people and systems in our society. Nadia believes in supporting clients to live out their values and find creative ways to regain, or maintain, power in a world that may often feel out of our control. 

 

Nadia received her Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago with a mental health specialization. She is currently pursuing a PhD from Arizona State University in the School of Social Work.
